The power of Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy isn’t a new technique. It has been used since the 1950s to offer relief from a range of injuries and health problems – both acute and chronic. But it is also popular for rebalancing and relaxing the body. And who doesn’t love a bit of self-care?
Bowen Therapy involves a series of gentle movements on the skin at specific locations. These movements deliver signals to your body, triggering the body’s natural healing responses.
The greatest benefit of Bowen Therapy is its holistic approach to healing. It treats the whole body, not just the parts of your body experiencing symptoms.
A natural technique to heal any condition
I have used Bowen Therapy to successfully treat clients experiencing a range of health problems or conditions: headaches, migraines, neck, back or joint pain, sciatica, bedwetting, arthritis, constipation – and so much more.
Women have credited Bowen Therapy for balancing their hormones and menstrual cycles and relieving the pain associated with that. For my tradie clients, being free from pain has allowed them to get back to work.
I know Bowen Therapy can help you too. If you’re looking for Bowen Therapy in Camden, I’d love to see you at my studio.
All the details
A typical Bowen Therapy session generally lasts between 15-45 minutes. Clients usually lie on a massage table or may be seated in a chair if required, for comfort. A session involves one or more 'procedures', each of which consists of several sets of moves. These moves are gentle, but purposeful, and can be done through light clothing.
There are frequent pauses between each set of moves to allow your body to respond. Your body will continue to respond over several days following treatment so it is encouraged that you do not pursue other forms of manipulative therapy for up to five days after a session.
30-45 minute session $80
20-30 minute session $65
Bowen & Reiki combined (60 minutes) $100
